ABS sensors

Collection: ABS sensors

ABS sensors are components of the braking system that measure the rotational speed of individual wheels and transmit this data to the ABS control unit and the ESP stability control system. Based on this information, the system identifies when a wheel is locking during braking and modulates the braking force accordingly, preventing skidding. The sensor works with a magnetic or toothed ring (tone ring) on the hub. A properly functioning ABS sensor has a direct impact on safety, braking effectiveness, and the correct operation of ABS, ESP, and traction control systems.

A damaged ABS sensor exhibits characteristic symptoms: illumination of the ABS (and often also ESP) warning light on the dashboard, deactivation of the stability control system, stored error codes readable by diagnostic computers, and sometimes erratic speedometer operation. Common causes of failure include contamination, mechanical damage, or chafing of the sensor cable. A malfunctioning sensor disables important safety systems, so a damaged component should be replaced with a new one.

In this collection, you will find active and passive ABS sensors for front and rear axles, left and right sides, suitable for popular makes and models of passenger cars and commercial vehicles. We offer replacements from trusted manufacturers that match factory-installed parts in terms of measurement accuracy and durability. In our store, you can also complete other components of the braking and suspension systems that cooperate with the sensor, such as wheel bearings and hubs with integrated ABS sensors, ABS rings, brake pads, and discs.

Each ABS sensor must be matched to a specific car model, axle, and mounting side – before purchasing, it is advisable to verify the part number to select the correct replacement. We offer ABS sensors at competitive prices with fast delivery.
