Lambda sensors

Collection: Lambda sensors

Lambda sensors are exhaust system sensors that measure the oxygen content in exhaust gases and transmit this information to the engine control unit. Based on this, the computer continuously adjusts the air-fuel mixture, ensuring optimal combustion. We distinguish between the pre-catalyst sensor (control sensor), which regulates fuel delivery, and the post-catalyst sensor (diagnostic sensor), which monitors the catalyst's effectiveness. A properly functioning lambda sensor directly affects performance, fuel consumption, and exhaust emissions.

A worn or damaged lambda sensor exhibits characteristic symptoms: increased fuel consumption, uneven engine operation and jerking, a decrease in power, the check engine light illuminating, and problems passing emission tests. A contaminated or "lazy" sensor transmits incorrect data, resulting in a mixture that is too rich or too lean – which accelerates catalyst wear. Therefore, a damaged component should be replaced with a new one.

In this collection, you will find lambda sensors – control and diagnostic, in versions from single to four-wire, heated and unheated – suitable for popular makes and models of passenger cars and delivery vehicles. We offer replacements from trusted manufacturers that match factory-installed parts in terms of reaction time and durability. In our store, you can also find other exhaust system components that work with the sensor, such as the catalytic converter, DPF/FAP particulate filter, exhaust gas temperature sensor, and exhaust gas pressure sensor.

Each lambda sensor must be matched to the specific car model, engine version, and mounting position (before or after the catalytic converter) – before purchasing, it is worth verifying the part number to select the correct replacement. We offer lambda sensors at competitive prices with fast delivery.
