Enlarged grooves help dissipate heat, dust, debris, and gases generated during intensive braking, reducing the risk of deterioration in pad-disc cooperation. Non-through recesses facilitate gas removal during high-speed braking, while not weakening the disc's structure as much as through-drilled holes.
