The aramid fiber-based composite linings, reinforced with ceramic particles, provide a nominal friction coefficient of 0.50, performance comparable to stock pads when cold, and increasing effectiveness when hot. The compound handles repeated, intense braking well, while also operating more quietly and generating significantly less easy-to-remove dust, free of steel fibers. A special surface coating accelerates bedding-in and cleans the disc surface, which is why the Redstuff series performs particularly well in sports sedans, powerful hatchbacks, and 4x4 vehicles.
