The aramid fiber-based composite linings, reinforced with ceramic particles, provide a nominal friction coefficient of 0.50, offering effectiveness comparable to standard pads when cold and increasing efficiency when heated. The compound handles repeated, intense braking well, yet operates more quietly and generates significantly less easily removable dust, free of steel fibers. A special surface coating accelerates bedding-in and cleans the disc surface, which is why the Redstuff series performs particularly well in sports sedans, powerful hatchbacks, and 4x4 vehicles.
