EBC Redstuff brake pads are designed for heavier, more powerful, and dynamically driven road cars. The aramid fiber composite linings, reinforced with ceramic particles, provide a nominal friction coefficient of 0.50, performance comparable to stock pads when cold, and increasing effectiveness when hot. The compound handles repeated, intense braking well, while operating quieter and generating significantly less easy-to-remove, steel-fiber-free dust. A special surface coating speeds up bedding-in and cleans the disc surface, which is why the Redstuff series performs particularly well in sports sedans, powerful hatchbacks, and 4x4 vehicles.
