The aramid fiber-based composite linings, reinforced with ceramic particles, provide a nominal friction coefficient of 0.50, effectiveness comparable to stock pads when cold, and increasing effectiveness when hot. The compound handles repetitive, intense braking well, while operating quieter and generating significantly less easy-to-remove dust, free of steel fibers. A special surface coating accelerates bedding-in and cleans the disc surface, which is why the Redstuff series performs particularly well in sports sedans, powerful hatchbacks, and 4x4 vehicles.
