EBC Redstuff brake pads are designed for heavier, more powerful, and dynamically driven road cars. The aramid fiber-based composite linings, reinforced with ceramic particles, provide a nominal friction coefficient of 0.50, offering effectiveness comparable to OEM pads when cold and increasing efficiency when hot. The compound handles repetitive, intense braking well, while also operating quieter and generating significantly less easy-to-remove dust, free of steel fibers. A special surface coating accelerates bedding-in and cleans the disc surface, which is why the Redstuff series performs particularly well in sports sedans, powerful hatchbacks, and 4×4 vehicles.
