The linings, made from an aramid fiber-based composite reinforced with ceramic particles, provide a nominal friction coefficient of 0.50, cold effectiveness comparable to original equipment pads, and increasing efficiency after warming up. The compound tolerates repeated, intensive braking well, while operating quieter and generating significantly less easy-to-remove dust, free of steel fibers. A special surface coating accelerates bedding-in and cleans the disc surface, which is why the Redstuff series is particularly well suited for sports sedans, powerful hatchbacks, and 4×4 vehicles.
