EBC Redstuff brake pads are designed for heavier, more powerful, and dynamically driven road cars. The linings, made of an aramid fiber-based composite reinforced with ceramic particles, provide a nominal friction coefficient of 0.50, effectiveness comparable to serial pads when cold, and increasing efficiency after warming up. The compound tolerates repetitive, intense braking well, while operating quieter and generating significantly less easily removable dust, free of steel fibers. A special surface coating accelerates bedding-in and cleans the disc surface, which is why the Redstuff series is particularly well-suited for sports sedans, powerful hatchbacks, and 4x4 vehicles.
