EBC Redstuff brake pads are designed for heavier, more powerful, and dynamically used road cars. The aramid fiber-based composite linings, reinforced with ceramic particles, provide a nominal friction coefficient of 0.50, effectiveness comparable to stock pads when cold, and increasing efficiency once warm. The compound handles repeated, intensive braking well, while also operating quieter and generating significantly less easily removable dust, free of steel fibers. A special surface coating accelerates bedding-in and cleans the disc surface, which is why the Redstuff series works particularly well in sports sedans, powerful hatchbacks, and 4×4 vehicles.
