EBC Redstuff brake pads are designed for heavier, more powerful, and dynamically used road cars. The linings, made from an aramid fiber-based composite reinforced with ceramic particles, provide a nominal friction coefficient of 0.50, performance comparable to OEM pads when cold, and increasing effectiveness when hot. The compound handles repeated, intensive braking well, operates more quietly, and generates significantly less easy-to-remove dust, free of steel fibers. A special surface coating accelerates bedding-in and cleans the disc surface, making the Redstuff series particularly well-suited for sports sedans, powerful hatchbacks, and 4x4 vehicles.
