EBC Redstuff brake pads are designed for heavier, more powerful, and dynamically driven road cars. The aramid fiber-based composite linings, reinforced with ceramic particles, provide a nominal friction coefficient of 0.50, offering effectiveness comparable to standard pads when cold and increasing efficiency when warm. The compound handles repeated, intense braking well, while also operating quieter and generating significantly less easily removable dust, free of steel fibers. A special surface coating speeds up bedding-in and cleans the disc surface, which is why the Redstuff series performs particularly well in sports saloons, powerful hatchbacks, and 4x4 vehicles.
