EBC ULTIMAX2 brake pads are designed for passenger cars, vans, and SUVs as an ECE R90 compliant replacement for original equipment. The friction compound with a nominal friction coefficient of 0.46 ensures effective and stable braking, reduced dust, and up to 50% lower disc wear compared to more abrasive semi-metallic pads. Anti-vibration shims, chamfered edges, an expansion slot, and BRAKE-IN coating shorten the bedding-in process, reduce noise and vibrations, and help to mitigate moderate pulsing during braking. Manufactured in the UK, they are primarily suitable for everyday road use.
