EBC ULTIMAX2 brake pads are designed for passenger cars, vans, and SUVs as an ECE R90 compliant replacement for original equipment. The friction compound, with a nominal friction coefficient of 0.46, ensures effective and stable braking, reduced dust, and up to 50% less disc wear compared to more abrasive semi-metallic linings. Anti-vibration shims, chamfered edges, a dilation slot, and a BRAKE-IN coating shorten the bedding-in process, reduce noise and vibrations, and help reduce moderate pulsation during braking. Manufactured in the UK, they are primarily suitable for daily road use.
