EBC ULTIMAX2 brake pads are designed for cars, vans and SUVs as an ECE R90 compliant replacement for original equipment. The friction compound with a nominal friction coefficient of 0.46 ensures effective and stable braking, reduced dusting and disc wear up to 50% lower than more abrasive semi-metallic linings. Anti-vibration shims, chamfered edges, an expansion slot and BRAKE-IN coating shorten the bedding-in process, reduce noise and vibration, and help mitigate moderate pulsating during braking. Manufactured in the UK, they are primarily suited for daily road use.
