The friction compound, with a nominal friction coefficient of 0.46, ensures effective and stable braking, reduced dust, and up to 50% lower disc wear compared to more abrasive semi-metallic pads. Anti-vibration shims, chamfered edges, an expansion slot, and a BRAKE-IN coating shorten the bedding-in process, reduce noise and vibrations, and help mitigate moderate pulsation during braking. Manufactured in the UK, they are primarily suitable for daily road use.
