EBC ULTIMAX2 brake pads are designed for passenger cars, vans, and SUVs as ECE R90 compliant replacements for original equipment. The friction compound, with a nominal friction coefficient of 0.46, ensures effective and stable braking, reduced dust, and up to 50% lower disc wear compared to more abrasive semi-metallic linings. Anti-vibration shims, chamfered edges, an expansion slot, and a BRAKE-IN coating shorten the break-in process, reduce noise and vibration, and help minimize moderate pulsation during braking. Manufactured in the UK, they are primarily suited for daily road use.
