EBC ULTIMAX2 brake pads are designed for passenger cars, vans, and SUVs as an ECE R90-compliant replacement for original equipment. The friction compound with a nominal friction coefficient of 0.46 provides effective and stable braking, limited dust, and disc wear up to 50% lower than with more abrasive semi-metallic linings. Anti-vibration shims, chamfered edges, a dilation slot, and a BRAKE-IN coating shorten the bedding-in process, reduce noise and vibrations, and help to mitigate moderate pulsation during braking. Manufactured in the UK, they perform best in everyday road use.
