The friction compound, with a nominal friction coefficient of 0.46, ensures effective and stable braking, reduced dust, and up to 50% lower disc wear compared to more abrasive semi-metallic linings. Anti-vibration shims, chamfered edges, expansion slots, and the BRAKE-IN coating shorten the bedding-in process, reduce noise and vibrations, and help alleviate moderate braking pulsation.
