EBC Racing Brake Pad Set RP-X Racing BMW | EBG Performance

EBC Racing RP-X brake pads are designed for heavy-duty performance cars and vehicles used in the most demanding track, sprint, and hill climb competitions. The compound maintains a stable friction coefficient of 0.55 in the range of 0 to 850°C and achieves full effectiveness without pre-warming. Compared to RP-1, it provides approximately 25% higher friction, less required pedal pressure, and a more aggressive initial bite, at the cost of faster pad wear, increased dust, and noise. Disc wear remains comparable to other performance linings. Due to the lack of ECE R90 homologation, the RP-X series is not approved for road use in the EU. For lighter cars, systems without ABS, or without extensive brake kits, the milder RP-1 compound is a better choice.
